I don’t agree with torture tactics, but what are we going to do with these prisoners? The no room in prisons already. Will they move next to the white house?
The overwhelming majority of those left are NOT “the hardened, super-dangerous, worst of the worst…” They are the poor schmucks who are the most politically troublesome to release– often because they were completely innocent menthe law. The government is bound by it too. If “bad people” have to be released… it’s 100% George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, George Tenet and Don Rumsfeld’s fault, period. [And again… why should we believe anything they said about anyone?]
Just wanted to stop by here and thank you for your vigilance and many interviews. I am sure the struggle for the rule of law is not over, but it sure is nice to see movement in the right direction.
