the talking dog

January 19, 2004, Iowa, We've Missed You... 2:50 p.m. EST or thereabouts

Picking up on the attack on Saletan in Slate, Chris of Strata Lucida follows up with an attack on the media and its desire to see candidates fall out of the race so that their widdle bwains can keep twack of the field-- this all being so compwicated. Chris cites sort of favorably to this Howie Kurtz WaPo caucus round-up piece, which contains a nice summary of caucus discussions in other media outlets that I'm probably going to have to steal... use as a resource. Howie notes extensive discussion regarding the sudden apperance of Dr. Steinberg and Mrs. Dean... Howard Dean's wife Judy has finally joined him on the campaign trail, so of course... media feeding frenzy!!!

WaPo's main coverage of the Caucasus... caucuses... is here, by Dan Balz, and the piece cites the Des Moines Register and Zogby polls that kind of conflict. I was asked for my own prediction at lunch today; I suggested it will be a virtual tie for Edwards and Kerry. But I put no stock in my own prediction.

If you want me to put no stock in your prediction, send it along...

I am in a moral quandry.
My friend searches for http://cheating.any1in.us/infidelity.html infidelity on google to screen potential roommates.
He found any1in.us , but did not visit.
I, on the other hand, searched for http://detectives.any1in.us/registries.html registries and found any1in.us.
I went there and found that http://detectives.any1in.us/private-investgator.html private investgator were easier to find than on google.
Should I tell him that his potential roommate is a http://cheating.any1in.us/cheating-husband.html cheating husband ?

Excellent, let me know how it works. I'll add methods for retrieving the rest of your collection too (not just the currently reading and favorite books) as well, so that might be a better option than creating xml feeds for each of these things.
