We are pleased to announce that New Hampshire blogger Syaffalee (not usually a political blogger) has written in promising dispatches from the New Hampshire front, particularly a key debate tomorrow evening at Dartmouth. Syaffolee, a grad student in microbiology at Dartmouth, should provide a unique perspective on events, and we look forward to some great blogging.
Meanwhile, as America experiments with democracy in an arcane process that includes a small minority from a state representing around 1% of the U.S. population to another one that represents a small minority of around 1/2 of 1% of the American population, this week's visit to Pravda takes us to a place where democracy is taken so seriously, the denial of it may result in civil war. Well, this is the assessment of CIA officers working within Iraq, anyway, according to Knight-Ridder via Pravda; specifically, Ayatollah Sistani's "threat", or in my opinion, "observation", that the proposed American caucus process, which, whether it is or not, will be perceived as rigged, will probably cause an explosion among Shiites eager for that democracy we promised them.
As with Iraqi democracy and everything else: one must be careful what they wish for,

Excellent, let me know how it works. I'll add methods for retrieving the rest of your collection too (not just the currently reading and favorite books) as well, so that might be a better option than creating xml feeds for each of these things.
