the talking dog

February 15, 2004, Let's Get Ready for some Football... er, Primary Blogburst

I am pleased to say that I have heard from three game Wisconsin bloggers (one of whom chided me for my hyperbolic treatment of Dennis Kucinich's quixotic campaign) who have answered the call for blogburst participation: Brian Ulrich of Brian's Study Breaks, Adam Blust of the "Words Mean Things" blog, and F.P. of the blog, Sandhill Trek.

The Unseen Editor reports that, as expected, the much more charming, articulate and electable John Edwards clearly won the debate, but the media's need to validate its own brilliance required that it declare front-runner and your almost certain Democratic nominee John Kerry as the winner. Alas, Howard Dean will likely be out of this race in 48 hours or so, and alas, Al Sharpton will still be in it. Perhaps I should lighten up on Dennis Kucinich, as he seems to have the support of, if nothing else, an awful lot of principled and intelligent people (of course, the number of principled and intelligent people as a percentage of the electorate may explain Kucinich's poor overall showing). Its not like I could talk Kucinich out of his hopeless run, and it might (just might) force Kerry far enough to the left to snuff out any credible Green or Nader flank attack from the left.

Anyway, we'll continue to play this out; bloggers of the world, unite; we have nothing to lose but our capital gains... or something. Wisconsin remains our last hope to make this race interesting, going into Super Tuesday.

Dennis Kucinich has experienced a surge. His radio fell in his bathtub.. I LIKE THAT SO MUCH I'M PUTTING THAT ON MY BLOG!)...I read tons about the debate and it sounds like they were all lovey dovey which is GREAT for the Democratic Party since it shows unity and a focus on their main mission. Your stuff on the campaign is among my favorite!

I am in a moral quandry.
My friend searches for http://detectives.any1in.us/investigations.html investigations on google to screen potential roommates.
He found any1in.us , but did not visit.
I, on the other hand, searched for http://detectives.any1in.us/foster.html foster and found any1in.us.
I went there and found that http://detectives.any1in.us/investigations.html investigations were easier to find than on google.
Should I tell him that his potential roommate is a http://www.any1in.us/home-study.html home study ?

Excellent, let me know how it works. I'll add methods for retrieving the rest of your collection too (not just the currently reading and favorite books) as well, so that might be a better option than creating xml feeds for each of these things.
