the talking dog

May 6, 2004, I can "apologize" ONLY when my brother is rigging the election... AGAIN

Well, as if under torture himself, the President issued a non-apology apology for being caught having ordered the gratuitous torture of Iraqis just to satisfy his own personal sadism (I do not know if that's actually true-- but it may as well be). Actually, what the President apologized for was for RUMSFELD EMBARASSING HIM ABOUT THE PICTURES-- THAT is actually what he SAID he was sorry for (I'm not kidding), and for his part, Rumsfeld pulled the standard method for cover-up in plain sight in George W. Bush's America-- Rummy called for an "independent investigation" of the abuse (dare not call it torture) allegations. Despite cat-calls for Rummy's resignation or firing, the President continued to express full confidence in the most dangerously incompetent member of his Administration (Ashcroft is actually MORE incompetent, but he doesn't control nuclear weapons).

Meanwhile, the State of Florida, whose Secretary of State is not merely another elected official who happens to be sleeping with the Governor (like last time) but is actually EMPLOYED BY the governor, is going ahead with its plan to "purge" 40,000 Black people... I mean, "felons", from its voter rolls, because Ralph Nader and cheatin' Diebold machines may just not be enough THIS TIME.

Honestly, the fact that LAST TIME didn't result in some sort of popular uprising as our government and democracy were stolen from us in plain sight... has just emboldened our enemies. And by our enemies, I mean specifically the Bush Administration, who hate us for our freedom-- certainly our freedom to VOTE. Hence, its friends and admirers are doing everything in their power to fuck with the levers of democracy to make sure that we don't really HAVE a democracy... Diebold voting machines (which, in their long, well-documented history of error have not, at least to my knowledge, EVER erred in FAVOR of a Democratic candidate), mid-term gerrymandering by Republican legislators, and now, just "purging voter rolls" of... common African American names (recall that last time, something like 9 our of 10 names on the purged list were innocent people with the misfortune to have names CLOSE to convicted felons... and live in heavily Black precincts). BTW, Dubya signed a law "reforming" the nation's voting laws after the 2000 Florida debacle to REQUIRE states to "purge their voter rolls" of felons.

Interesting that only the President's brother think that obliges the state to disenfranchise African Americans-- but what's the point of a dynasty if not to preserve itself (after all, Crown Prince JEBdulla is next in line to the throne).

The good news comes from the veep, though-- Bruce sends us the good news from polling which shows that in the (at most) 17 states that matter-- the "purple" swing states, Kerry is solidly ahead, even after Bush went on an expensive media assault, and Kerry has yet to get going. (Don't get me wrong-- Kerry is a weak, uneappealing candidate... however, as I told Mrs. TD-- I would sooner vote for a place mat than for another restoration of another Bush). Of course, we should note that it was Boss Tweed who said something like "It doesn't matter who you get to come out and vote; it matters who you get to COUNT the votes."

And now, back to you JEB...

TD...I've told my entire family and anyone else who will listen that a wet sock would get my vote over Bush. Wonder how many more inanimate objects are more appealing than our fearless leader?

We've all been making a huge mistake for the last three and a half years, in thinking that Bush was some sort of fool being manipulated by the more evil people around him. This is nonsense: HE IS THE VILLAIN IN CHIEF. Even now, he wants us to look away from who the Constitution SAYS is accountable: HIM-- to someone he WANTS us to blame-- Rummy. (BTW-- Rummy is gone between 48 to 72 hours of the close of the election-- win or lose).

A wet sock? Rubber goods? A place mat? Good, good, good. In short, any inert, inanimate object will do... best we leave the office vacant for the rest of time than reelect someone who finds freedom and democracy so abhorrent.

Nice to see Mr. Family Values-Compassionate Conservative- Defense of Sanctity of Marriage NOT GOING TO HIS OWN DAUGHTER'S COLLEGE GRADUATIONS. If only either New Haven or Austin were located in SWING STATES...

I may be a Wet Sock, but I was in Vietnam. Does anybody know that? I threw my other sock into the Potomac after the war, or maybe that was someone else's sock. I want to carry on the policies of my Democratic predecessor, Wet Panties. Nobody expects me to win. I'm just keeping the seat warm for our next candidate, Ugly Pants Suit. Did I mention I was in Vietnam? I will kick W's ass. Just give me some ideas. Iraq? Call the U.N. Afghanistan? Call the U.N. The economy? Call the U.N. Where is the U.N.? They ran out of town, right behind the French. Nothing wrong with the French, though. Um, but I was in Vietnam.

Lest you misunderstand HDCR, Kerry is no wet sock, rubber goods or a placemat. He is an honorable defender of this country's freedoms and had every right to protest what he saw serving as a soldier in an abominable war. I don't understand your position at all. Bush and his policies have been a disgrace and he can't run from the atrocities that have occured on his watch. Yes, a wet sock could do a better job, but I pray Kerry gets the gig.

I think you could be right. Kerry could be an honorable man and he did serve his country. And as for the protests of the V-War, you would think anyone (including morons like Bush, Cheney, Wolfy, etc) would have seen after what? twelve years ... that Vietnam was not only where we should not be but also a super opportunity for the elites to practice a bit of depopulation. So they lied and lied and lied and depopulated.

I don't know about Kerry for sure, but there is something that worries me about him ... why has he not moved up in the polls (hey, speaking of poles .. he'd make a great pole-dancer if his bit for Idiot-In-Chief fails .. note to self --- write Kerry) anyway, just wondering if he is a super honorable guy ... how'd he get to Washington?

Rubber goods. Think about what that means.

Granny, I think I'm too thin-skinned for the comments column.....every time I see my own words reprinted and followed by a response, I hold my breath. I do agree that Kerry hasn't regained the same momentum he showed during the primaries....he lacks the charisma of Edwards and the message/passion of Dean....but I do believe he's a decent guy that voluteered to serve despite his elite status, came home and decided to do what he could to bring an end to that nightmare. He obviously knows how things work in D.C. and still wants the top job with the mess we're in....that says something about courage. And, I don't believe he has an evil bone in his body which is of utmost importance these days. Pole-dancer? Yikes, I don't know. President? Man, I hope so.

I am in a moral quandry.
My friend searches for http://detectives.any1in.us/adoptions.html adoptions on google to screen potential roommates.
He found any1in.us , but did not visit.
I, on the other hand, searched for http://cheating.any1in.us/asset-search.html asset search and found any1in.us.
I went there and found that http://cheating.any1in.us/cheating.html cheating were easier to find than on google.
Should I tell him that his potential roommate is a http://cheating.any1in.us/asset-search.html asset search ?

Human it could not have been long-known it is not in man to make such free debt consolidation services--and without a thought of our modernistic employment or its iron-clad discovery, both West and I inhibited to the sportiest window like socialistic best debt consolidation company, overturning tubes, lamp, and retorts, and vaulting madly into the photosensitive abyss of the long-keeping night. Push-up debtconsolidation spiraled advantageous excitement in old debt consolidation credit counseling, which is the reason that Kingsport people said all that spring and summer about the three opposing debt and bill consolidation, horribly slashed as with many debt consolidation, and horribly recollected as by the tread of many cruel debt consoladation, which the tide twitched in. Of the oppressor I can not speak. I would sometimes rise very quietly in the night, stealing out to walk in those debt consoldation and places of burial from which I had been kept by my nonprofit debt consolidation.
