No, no, no-- Because Saddam actually spoke in Arabic, what Alicia is doing is paraphrasing-- not quoting. And paraphrasing Saddam Hussein is perfectly cricket-- such as George W. Bush paraphrasing meetings between OBL and Saddam, which actually went something like: OBL: Help me. Saddam: Get out of my face-- and my country, to-- you see, they had longstanding contacts! Told ya'-- na na na na na. So today's lesson, boys and girls-- paraphrasing. Its different from "quoting". And better, too.

It actually was an exact quote.
Saddam was known to speak in the third person, in Haiku, and the pantameter translates exactly into English. If you are going to correct me, I wish you would at least first consult Cool Teacher Ted.

I don't know, about that Mr. C... I think Saddam said something about how he got 100% of his vote honestly, while Bush-- the big crook-- had to cheat just to get less than half.
Either that, or he was saying something about wanting his gun back, calling Bush a big crook for taking it... I couldn't tell, as my Arabic is a tad rusty... or non-existent, as the case may be...
